The objective of HOSHINO DREAMS PROJECT is to develop talented people in the area of business operation in sports by providing actual business experience as an intern at baseball and various sports teams as well as organizations, and to feedback these talent to not only the baseball and sports industry, but various fields in society. The sports industry is continuously filled with many young top athletes who are pursuing their dreams. However, most of the athletes are forced to give up during the way. Many of them desire to be involved with sports after they retire and they are the ones who know the greatness of the space and time created by sports.

But Japan severely lacks a place to keep, develop, and train those young people. If a system to develop people internally does not exist, that organization will decline before long.

On the other hand, in the professional sports industry of the United States, every sport, every organization has an internship system established to accept young people and develop them into talented individuals.

Therefore, HOSHINO DREAMS PROJECT has built a system to bridge over young people who desire to intern from Japan and Asia where they can learn business operation through actual work experience at the minor league team in the United States we invested in as well as teams and organizations of various sports. We plan to approach as many teams, leagues, and organizations as possible as potential internship sites. And I hope someday, young talented people who have developed here take off into the world to play an active role in not only Japan and Asia’s baseball industry, but broadly in the sports industry and entertainment industry as well as fields like education and welfare.

My dream may take 5 years, or even 10 years to become a reality. The number of young people we are able to bridge over may be limited. Nevertheless, I still believe that if a concrete vision is presented, there will be many young passionate people who will respond.

This project is tied to my “dream” of showing my gratitude and giving back to the “baseball industry”, the “sports industry”, as well as the society and is in no way expecting any returns. I do not seek anything but “appreciation” from the people who have taken a part in this project. If I expect anything that will be for each and every one of the participants to pass on the desire I have entrusted into HOSHINO DREAMS PROJECT to their successors.
